This is a true generalist HR position where you'll partner closely with managers across the organisation, providing practical, down-to-earth HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You'll play a key role in guiding and coaching managers, ensuring best practice, and confidently managing a wide range of employee relations matters.
What You'll Be Doing
- Acting as a trusted advisor to managers on day-to-day HR matters
- Managing employee relations cases end-to-end including:
- Disciplinary
- Grievance
- Performance management
- Absence management
- Supporting and coaching managers to build confidence and capability
- Ensuring compliance with employment law and HR best practice
- Contributing to HR processes and helping improve ways of working
- Supporting the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role within an SME
- Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing cases independently
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Organised, detail-oriented with strong process mindset
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
