A rapidly scaling fintech, now at 220 employees after launching in the UK last year, is on track to reach 600 people within the next 12 months. To support this pace, the People team is expanding with a newly created People Partner role. This position sits between the Head of HR and the HR Coordinator (who will report into this role). The role will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees while helping to build the HR infrastructure needed for a much larger organisation.
- People partnering - provides day‑to‑day guidance to managers, supports leadership decision‑making, and ensures people practices align with business goals.
- Employee relations management - leads ER cases from start to finish, offering balanced, commercially aware advice and ensuring consistent outcomes.
- Performance & development support - contributes to performance cycles, coaches’ managers on feedback, and helps embed a culture of continuous development.
- Onboarding & employee experience - enhances onboarding processes, drives engagement initiatives, and supports culture‑building across a fast‑moving organisation.

5–7 years of HR experience, ideally gained in fast‑paced scaling environment. Must have demonstrable experience operating in a start-up, fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of driving both people operations and strategic business partnering. Strong generalist grounding with confidence across ER, performance, coaching, and people operations. Thrives in a high‑growth, ever‑evolving environment and enjoys building structure where needed.
