Having achieved significant growth in recent years, they are now looking to appoint a standalone HR Manager to build and lead the people function, partnering closely with senior leadership to support the next stage of their journey.

The Opportunity
As the standalone HR Manager, you will be the trusted advisor to the leadership team, taking ownership of the entire employee lifecycle while helping to create a high-performance, people-first culture. You’ll play a key role in shaping HR processes, policies and programmes that support business growth, ensuring the organisation continues to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent.
- Lead all day-to-day HR activities across the employee lifecycle
- Partner with senior leaders to provide expert advice on people matters
- Manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes
- Develop and implement HR policies, processes and best practice initiatives
- Support workforce planning and organisational growth strategies
- Drive performance management, talent development and succession planning
- Oversee onboarding, engagement and retention programmes
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR governance requirements
- Analyse people data and provide insights to support business decisions
- Champion company culture and employee wellbeing initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in a standalone HR Manager, HR Business Partner or similar generalist HR role
- Strong employment law knowledge and employee relations expertise
- Experience working within a high-growth, consulting, professional services or entrepreneurial environment
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels
- Highly organised, proactive and commercially minded
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Passionate about building culture and creating outstanding employee experiences
