Part-Time Learning & Development Consultant (2 Days/Week)

Β£70,000 – 80,000 FTE

Are you passionate about unlocking potential and driving performance through impactful learning experiences? We’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development Consultant to design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality training programs across our Sales, Leadership, and Underwriting teams.

This is a part-time consultancy role (2 days per week), ideal for someone who thrives on making a measurable difference in team capability and business outcomes. Working arrangement can be flexible.

Role Details:

  • Conduct training needs analysis across departments to identify skill gaps and opportunities.
  • Design and deliver engaging, tailored training programs in:
  • Sales effectiveness and customer engagement
  • Leadership development for emerging and established leaders
  • Underwriting best practices and compliance
  • Evaluate training outcomes and continuously improve content based on feedback and performance data.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align training initiatives with strategic goals.
  • Provide coaching and support to individuals and teams to embed learning and drive behavioural change.

What You Bring:

  • A proven track record in designing and delivering high-impact training programs.
  • Experience in financial services, ideally within later life lending or a regulated environment.
  • Strong grasp of adult learning principles and training evaluation methodologies.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly within a consultancy framework.

Ideal Experience:

  • Experience working within Financial Services would be highly beneficial (particularly insurance)
  • CIPD or L&D qualification (or equivalent).
  • Coaching qualification or certification.
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms.
