Job Description
I am delighted to bring this HRIS Implementation Manager fixed-term contract to the market exclusively. This role is responsible for overseeing the RFP, selection, and full implementation of a new HR system, managing all phases from planning through to post-launch support. The position involves coordinating technical migration, stakeholder engagement, testing, training, and process optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full rollout of a new HR platform, ensuring delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications
- Develop and maintain structured project documentation, including timelines, risk logs, and issue trackers
- Coordinate activities across multiple streams such as data migration, system setup, testing, training, and change enablement
- Liaise with external vendors and implementation partners to ensure milestones are achieved
- Manage governance processes and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Oversee the technical transition from existing platforms to the new HR system
- Manage complex data migration tasks, ensuring accuracy and continuity of employee records and historical data
- Lead data cleansing and validation efforts to improve data quality
- Ensure smooth transfer of employment data, including contracts, personal details, and historical changes
- Maintain data connections between integrated systems and ensure reporting continuity
- Establish updated data governance protocols and preserve key reporting structures
- Coordinate migration of absence records, training logs, payroll data, and compliance-related information
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve legacy system issues and improve day-to-day system usage
- Support leadership in delivering strategic people initiatives through system transformation
- Design and execute testing plans, including integration and user acceptance testing
- Create test cases covering core HR processes such as recruitment, absence tracking, and payroll
- Validate system performance and reporting capabilities for compliance and operational needs
- Manage issue tracking and resolution in collaboration with vendors and internal teams
- Provide post-launch support and troubleshoot issues during the initial rollout phase
- Promote effective use of the new system and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Proven track record of leading full-cycle HR system implementations
- Strong project management experience with successful delivery of tech projects
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance, data protection, and employment data standards
- Experience managing complex data sets and system integrations
- Understanding of payroll structures and annual review processes
The role offers a competitive package of up to £70,000 p.a. on a fixed-term contract basis. You will benefit from an agile and hybrid working model and be given autonomy.
