I am delighted to collaborate exclusively with my client in the professional and financial services sectors to recruit an HR PMO Lead. This role will support the ongoing delivery of projects across various HR disciplines, including HR technology, HR data, HR operations, and compensation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the HR team's programme management function, HR technology transformation, HR insights, and data, and ensuring a cohesive view of all People-related activities for continuous project improvements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring progress against plans, identifying risks and issues, maintaining budgetary control, and managing the overall HR financial plan.
- Directing the planning and implementation of various projects, identifying resource needs, engaging relevant stakeholders, creating delivery timelines, and managing communications.
- Leading project teams to successful completion, incorporating feedback and lessons learned to refine processes.
- Key projects encompass HR systems improvements, roadmap design, HRIS efficiencies, HR data and insights landscaping, dashboards, and HR KPI board-packs.
- Annual cycles for performance management, reward, and talent planning.
- Yearly reviews and renewal processes for HR benefits.
You will be the lead business representative for all HR IT systems, supported by the People Data and Insights Lead, and work closely with the IT Technology and Transformation team. Ensure smooth delivery of routine system operations, identify opportunities for enhancement, and develop a strategic roadmap for transformative HR Tech advancements. Partner with the Technology team to implement these changes.
Initiatives aimed to improve employee experiences through People policies, procedures, benefits, and HR technology updates. Take accountability for ensuring high-quality HR data, reports, and insights, supported by the People Data and Insights Lead. Provide comprehensive oversight and quality checks for current HR policies and processes. Identify areas for improvement and explore transformational opportunities.
Collaborate with HR and key stakeholders to prioritize and execute these initiatives, either by leading or supporting efforts as needed. Establish foundational principles to guide all technology and people-related processes and policies across the organisation. Clarify roles and responsibilities, address process-related concerns, and facilitate ongoing improvements.
Organise HR operational meetings to align and coordinate activities, ensuring seamless collaboration. Proactively address risks associated with People processes by leading HR audits and compliance activities. Ensure GDPR compliance across all HR operations and collaborate with HR Business Partner teams to monitor future legislation and update policies and practices accordingly.
The role offers a competitive package of up to £115,000 p.a. on a permanent basis. You will benefit from an agile and hybrid working model and be given autonomy.
