Job Description

I am delighted to support an outstanding business in the heart of London to recruit to a HR Operations Analyst to support their HR leader with HR data, reporting, and operation workflows. My client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Operations Analyst to join their team on a 9-month fixed-term basis. This role will support a range of HR systems and operational initiatives, with a strong focus on data governance, process improvement, and global systems streamlining. You will take a holistic review of HR processes and how they translate to the HR system. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in HR operations or process analysis who’s ready on short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Data & Governance

  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across HR systems.
  • Collaborate with HR Shared Services to enhance quality control and streamline reporting processes.
  • Act as a key point of contact for resolving data-related queries and supporting audit readiness.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Partner with HR Business Partners to identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Analyse existing workflows and recommend smarter, more efficient ways of working.
  • Support the transition of manual processes to offshore teams, ensuring smooth handover and documentation.

Global Data, Reporting, Systems & Knowledge Management

  • Assist in the migration of global HR folder structures from SharePoint, ensuring accessibility and consistency across regions.
  • Contribute to harmonisation efforts and cross-border HR programmes.
  • Provide analytical support to inform decision-making and improve global collaboration.
  • Navigate challenges related to system integration post-acquisition, supporting alignment across platforms.
  • Act as a liaison between HR Shared Services, operational teams, and project stakeholders.
  • Support change management efforts, particularly within recruitment and other teams resistant to new processes.
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude and be ready to get involved wherever needed.
  • Support the adoption and understanding of HR systems, including learning new platforms as needed.
  • Experience in HR operations, HRIS, or HR data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with HR systems (Oracle, Workday, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to balance operational tasks with project delivery.
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with knowledge management platforms (e.g., SharePoint) is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and systems.

The role offers a competitive package of up to £55,000 p.a. on a fixed term for 9 months. You will benefit from an agile and hybrid working model and be given autonomy.
