I am delighted to recruit a fully remote Global Workday Project Manager for a fantastic client in the commerce and industry space. An international organisation is investing heavily in modernising its HR technology ecosystem to better support a large, globally distributed workforce. This initiative is focused on simplifying processes, improving data visibility, and enhancing the overall employee lifecycle experience.
You will have a robust team around you, reporting to the VP of systems, and working with an external SI partner. This role is for 12-18 months with a £450 day rate outside of IR35. A key hire is required to take ownership of delivery execution across a major enterprise HR system rollout. Acting as the central coordination point, you will bring structure to a complex programme spanning multiple regions, ensuring activity remains aligned, controlled, and outcome focused. This role sits within a central transformation function and offers significant exposure to senior decision-makers, along with the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile, multi-year change agenda.
Core Responsibilities- Drive coordination across a multi-stream HR systems programme, ensuring delivery remains on track across all phases
- Maintain oversight of plans, milestones, interdependencies, and key delivery risks
- Align global, regional, and third-party contributors to ensure consistent execution
- Enable effective governance through clear reporting, escalation management, and progress tracking
- Monitor programme scope, financials, and scheduling to ensure control and accountability
- Support critical delivery stages including system validation, readiness planning, and go-live activities
