About The Role

This position offers broad exposure across an international business, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure the accurate and compliant delivery of payroll across multiple jurisdictions, including responsibility for French payroll. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing payroll operations, resolving complex payroll matters, and supporting employees across a diverse workforce.

In addition to day-to-day payroll responsibilities, you will contribute to process improvement and payroll enhancement initiatives, helping to drive efficiency and strengthen controls within the function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional with French payroll expertise who is looking to further develop their international payroll career within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end processing of multiple international payrolls, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Ensure payroll activities remain compliant with relevant legislation, internal controls, and company policies across various jurisdictions.
  • Partner closely with HR, Finance, Benefits, and external providers to manage payroll-related changes, reconciliations, reporting, and employee queries.
  • Take ownership of a range of payroll administration activities, including time and absence management, year-end processes, regulatory reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Experience And Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, alongside proven experience in an end-to-end payroll role within a complex, international environment.
  • Demonstrated experience processing and/or reviewing French payroll is essential.
  • Strong systems and analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliations, as well as experience working with payroll and HR technology platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage relationships with external payroll providers.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset; relevant payroll qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
