I'm delighted to recruit a Dayforce HRIS Consultant for an outstanding business in London. We’re supporting the business in the middle of a high-pressure Dayforce programme and looking for a hands-on, technically capable Dayforce Consultant to join on an interim basis.
The key distinction is that this role is about constructing, stabilising and delivering the HR data ecosystem. XML schemas, fields, secure FTP pipelines, batch jobs, module configuration, rather than analysing data that already exists. It’s hands-on Dayforce engineering and implementation.
This is a technical delivery-focused role with immediate impact, stabilising key workstreams, resolving data and integration issues, as well as configuration, and helping the team push through a critical phase.
The role blends two core responsibilities:
- Taking full ownership of Dayforce’s HR data outputs by fixing extracts, strengthening and expanding fields, and stabilising feeds so the business receives clean, reliable reporting.
- Delivering hands-on configuration across modules such as Core HR, Time, and Recruitment to resolve functional issues.
In practice, it’s about tightening the entire data flow end-to-end, improving extracts, adding missing fields, resolving reporting bottlenecks, and ensuring batch runs and secure FTP feeds deliver accurate, dependable data every time.
You’ll work alongside the HRIS Project Manager and internal stakeholders. The client needs someone who can take ownership, move fast, and get things done.
The Role
- Technical configuration across multiple Dayforce modules, not just data feeds; they want an all-rounder who can jump between HR data and reporting, Core HR, Time, and Recruitment as needed.
- Troubleshooting and configuring time tracking/time & attendance, especially where legal requirements (e.g., overtime in some European countries, rest periods, public holiday rules) have caused issues.
- Data feed enhancement, expanding XML extracts, adding fields, validating schema, and ensuring clean delivery to BI/reporting.
- Batch run management, reviewing scheduled exports, secure FTP delivery, and troubleshooting failed jobs.
- Integration support, strengthening inbound/outbound feeds, resolving field mismatches, and improving reliability.
- Support for recruitment module tasks.
- Self-service rollout, supporting tweaks to workflows, permissions, and user experience.
- European or global experience ideal, compliance laws, resolving timekeeping issues tied to legal requirements (e.g. overtime, rest periods, public holidays).
- General Dayforce support: resolving and unwinding implementation issues, improving turnaround time, and reducing vendor dependency.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Dayforce HRIS Consultant in a hands-on, technical delivery-focused capacity.
- Dayforce module configuration.
- Deep Dayforce understanding.
- Strong understanding of Dayforce integrations, XML data structures, and reporting outputs.
- Comfortable identifying and mapping data fields, expanding schemas, and validating feeds.
- Experience managing secure FTP, batch scheduling, and automated data pipelines.
- Knowledge of T&A, scheduling, and compliance frameworks, especially in Europe.
- Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and drive progress without heavily relying on vendors.
- Strong communicator who can translate technical details into clear actions for HR and business stakeholders.
