Delighted to be working with a South Wales manufacturer that are looking for an HR Director on a permanent basis. Working closely with the COO, MD and senior leadership team, this role has full responsibility for all areas of HR both strategically and operationally, aligning HR policies, process and procedures to Group, and ensuring all engagement, cultural development and OD activity.
The position also has accountability for SHE related activities and will require strong knowledge of IR and UK employment law. You will be exposed and expected to lead on key programmes and projects such as the employee engagement survey, HRIS integration and change management, and providing coaching and development to senior leaders. You will also lead and manage a team of HR professionals.
You will have worked at senior HR level in a Head or Director role with site HR based experience within supply chain/logistics, engineering/manufacturing, food production, FMCG or a similar working environment. With broad commercial and HR generalist experience, you will be able to work in a strategic and operational capacity, leading an HR team and with UK employment law and IR experience.
The company is based in commuting distance of Cardiff and Newport and will require on site presence due to the nature of the business and workforce.
