We are supporting a growing professional services organisation to find a hands-on Senior HR Advisor/HR Business Partner in Birmingham, to join their team. This role combines operational employee relations leadership with business partnering and project work. This is a genuinely hands-on role where you will also have the scope and opportunity to be involved in project work, collaborating with colleagues as well as partnering stakeholders and contributing to people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading employee relations cases from start to finish including investigations outcomes and risk management.
- Supporting and guiding a small team of HR Advisors.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Contributing to key projects such as employee value proposition development, policy updates and learning and development initiatives.
- Supporting improvements within an evolving HR function.
Our client is looking for:
- Strong experience in employee relations with full ownership of cases from start to finish is essential.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment, working with ambiguity.
- Able to operate effectively where processes are still developing.
- Confident in influencing and challenging stakeholders.
- Experience supporting or mentoring others.
- Background in Professional Services or a complex stakeholder environment such as Higher Education is key.
