We’re partnering with a leading organisation to appoint an experienced HR Operations Team Lead at a pivotal time.

The Opportunity As HR Operations Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading the day-to-day delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle while playing a key role in a wider business transformation programme.

You’ll act as the bridge between operational delivery and strategic change, ensuring employees and managers receive an efficient, high-quality service while supporting the rollout of new processes and technology.

Working closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Reward, Payroll and business stakeholders, you’ll help shape a more streamlined, scalable and customer-focused HR function.

What You’ll Be Doing Leading and developing a team delivering high-volume HR operational services.

Driving service excellence across onboarding, offboarding, contracts, HR data, benefits administration, learning administration and employee support.

Embedding a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer service.

Monitoring and improving service performance against SLAs and KPIs.

Supporting major HR transformation initiatives, including process redesign and technology enhancements.

Acting as an escalation point for complex employee and manager queries.

Championing self-service and digital HR solutions to improve the employee experience.

Ensuring HR data accuracy, compliance and governance standards are maintained.

Identifying recurring issues, analysing root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.

Building strong relationships across HR and wider business functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

What We’re Looking For Experience leading an HR Operations, HR Shared Services, Employee Services or People Operations team.

Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and employee lifecycle management.

Experience supporting HR transformation, systems implementation or continuous improvement projects.

A proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

A data-driven mindset with a focus on operational excellence.

Confidence navigating change and bringing teams on the journey.

CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
