- Oversee the full UK payroll cycle, handling calculations, checks, reconciliations and final sign-off, delivering an accurate and efficient service across both weekly and monthly payroll runs.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including correct tax and National Insurance application, RTI submissions to HMRC, pension uploads, and coordination of year-end processes such as P60s, P11Ds and key deadlines.
- Serve as a go-to payroll expert, providing clear and timely responses to client and internal queries, liaising with HMRC and third parties to resolve issues, and supporting the wider team in achieving service standards.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements by supporting new client onboarding, creating and refining process documentation, assisting with payroll-related projects and system updates, and delivering training on legislative changes and more efficient ways of working.
- Demonstrate comprehensive UK payroll expertise across the full cycle, ideally within a client-facing setting, with the ability to manage multiple payrolls accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
