Am Fraunhofer-Institut für Grenzflächen- und Bioverfahrenstechnik IGB verbinden wir Biologie und Technik für Gesundheit, Ernährung, nachhaltige Chemie, Umwelt und Klimaschutz. Wir entwickeln Verfahren, Technologien und Produkte für eine auf den Patienten zugeschnittene Gesundheitsversorgung, eine nachhaltige Bioökonomie sowie eine klimaneutrale und ressourceneffiziente Kreislaufwirtschaft und bringen neue Lösungen erfolgreich in die industrielle Umsetzung. Wir forschen an den Standorten Stuttgart, Biberach, Leuna und Straubing und in enger Anbindung an zahlreiche Universitäten und Forschungseinrichtungen im In- und Ausland.
