FRATO, an international luxury interiors and furniture brand born in Porto, Portugal, is seeking an exceptional Showroom Manager to lead our showroom at Harrods, London. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a luxury retail environment and understands how to deliver an elevated, highly personalised client experience within one of the world’s most prestigious department stores.
The Role: As Showroom Manager, you will be the brand ambassador for FRATO at Harrods, leading all showroom operations, managing the team, driving sales and ensuring an exceptional customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all day-to-day showroom operations, ensuring flawless presentation aligned with FRATO’s luxury positioning;
- Oversee stock control and ordering processes;
- Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing team focused on excellence and collaboration;
- Analyse sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions;
- Ensure perfect product presentation and compliance with brand visual standards;
- Ensure compliance with all administrative, financial, and operational procedures, working closely with FRATO headquarters;
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with top clients, VIPs, and high-net-worth individuals, ensuring a personalized luxury experience;
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised client journey at every touchpoint;
- Coordinate showroom updates and annual display renovations in line with product launches;
- Arrange and host client meetings in-house or at client premises;
- The role may occasionally require undertaking additional reasonable duties as assigned by the Line Manager. Flexibility and a team-oriented approach are essential, particularly in supporting colleagues during peak periods, staff absences or unforeseen circumstances.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in luxury retail management (ideally interiors, furniture or design-led brands);
- Previous experience within a leading department store (Harrods experience highly desirable);
- Strong leadership capability with the confidence to manage autonomously;
- Polished presentation and exceptional interpersonal skills;
- Commercially driven, with a strong sense of style and attention to detail;
- Experience working with UHNW clients;
- Possess exceptional multitasking abilities and the confidence to navigate challenges independently;
- Fluent in English required; additional languages advantageous;
- Availability to work on weekends and in shifts.
