Our client, one of the UK’s leading litigation firms is currently seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join its growing Abuse Team based in Glasgow. This role involves managing a varied caseload of both pre-litigated and litigated abuse claims on behalf of insured and uninsured clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing case documents
- Assessing liability and quantum
- Preparing legal documentation and witness statements
- Liaising with clients and counsel
The successful candidate will have strong litigation skills and must be comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team. The successful candidate will also support broader team objectives, including business development initiatives such as drafting content and attending sector events.
To be considered for this role, you should have 3–5 years’ PQE and experience handling sensitive and complex claims. Familiarity with court appearances in the Sheriff Court and acting as an instructing agent in the Court of Session is also required.
