A leading Scottish law firm is looking for an experienced Contentious Construction Solicitor to join its highly regarded team on an interim basis (minimum 3 months). With flexibility to be based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Aberdeen, this role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most complex and high-value construction disputes in the country.
The firm’s construction practice is recognised as one of the largest and most respected in Scotland, advising clients across the full lifecycle of major infrastructure and development projects. The team is known for its strategic approach and deep sector knowledge, regularly acting for contractors, developers, funders, and public sector bodies on contentious matters involving roads, hospitals, schools, energy assets, and commercial developments.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage a varied caseload of disputes, including adjudications, litigation, and arbitration, and provide commercially focused advice to clients. You will be joining a collaborative and fast-paced environment where your expertise will be valued, and your contribution will make a real impact.
