Our client is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Restructuring Team. The ideal candidate will have between 0-4 years’ pqe and experience in restructuring, banking or litigation. This is a varied role and some of your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the partners in connection with contentious insolvency mandates and financial restructurings.
- Working on transactional insolvency mandates, including advising in connection with CVAs, pre-packs and issues arising in connection with trading administrations, such as breach of directors’ duties.
- Reviewing and advising cases for litigation funders.
- Reviewing and advising in relation to banking documentation and dealing with amendments, side-letters, waivers and variations to existing security packages.
- Advising the major clearing banks and alternative lenders in connection with distressed work-outs.
- Advising directors in connection with their own obligations in the context of an under-performing business.
- Various Business Development activities, with a significant amount of client contact.
