We are delighted to be exclusively instructed by our client on an exciting opportunity in Edinburgh. The firm is seeking property Lawyers to join its practice full time. The firm is open to candidates at all levels given its ambitious growth plans.
Coulters was founded in 2013, starting from a small office in Stockbridge. Today, we are a team of around 40 people working across our offices in Hope Street (Charlotte Square), Portobello and North Berwick. We specialise in the purchase and sale of residential property, with an unwavering focus on delivering best in class service. This commitment to client care has enabled us to almost double our revenue over the past five years.
As members of ESPC, we are consistently ranked among the top three or four selling agents in Edinburgh and East Lothian. Our ambition is to grow our market share year on year—always incrementally—so that we can confidently maintain the high service standards our clients expect, supported by the right level of resourcing.
In recent years, we have broadened our offering by developing strong relationships with housebuilders and developers, creating a valuable new revenue stream. We have also expanded into residential letting and property management as part of our strategy to diversify the business.
Our people are central to our success. We foster a genuinely supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to develop, take ownership of their caseload, and engage with clients in a friendly and proactive way. Workloads are carefully managed to ensure we consistently deliver excellent client service.
Our ethos is to win work through reputation, expertise, and exceptional service—while offering fees that represent true value. Unlike many high-volume conveyancers, we are not pursuing scale at the expense of quality. Growth must always be consistent with our staffing levels so that every client receives the level of attention they deserve.
We are building a business for the long term. That means prioritising our people’s wellbeing and maintaining the quality of our client service, rather than chasing short term profitability.
If you are ambitious, collaborative, client focused, and eager to challenge yourself to become the best version of you, we believe Coulters can offer the environment where you will thrive.
We are open to hearing from residential property Lawyers at all levels, and we support hybrid working. The roles are full-time, based in Edinburgh, with hybrid working available, and offer an excellent opportunity to join a small but ambitious and growing firm focused on delivering exceptional client service.
