Our client, a long-established law firm, is seeking a Residential and/or Commercial Property Solicitor to join its growing team in Dumfries.
The firm provides a broad range of legal services to a diverse client base and offers an opportunity to work within a progressive and supportive environment.
The role offers a high level of autonomy, allowing solicitors to manage their own caseload and develop an area of practice that aligns with their interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing residential and commercial property transactions from instruction to completion.
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, transfers, and other property documents.
- Advising clients, conducting legal due diligence, and identifying legal risks.
- Liaising with clients and third parties to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with AML, Land Registry, SDLT, and regulatory requirements.
The firm is keen to hear from candidates at all levels, from newly qualified solicitors through to senior practitioners, although candidates with at least five years’ PQE are particularly encouraged to apply.
While this is a full-time position, applications from those seeking part-time work will also be considered, as well as maternity cover opportunities.
