Senior Renewables Lawyer – Edinburgh (Assignment 15382)

This award-winning commercial law firm is currently recruiting a Partner/Director to join its busy practice in Edinburgh on a full-time basis. The role will sit within the firm’s growing Renewable Energy department; the successful candidate will be responsible for building and developing the firms’ renewables practice. You will also work closely alongside the firms’ corporate teams on a range of commercial property matters.

To be considered for this role, you should be an experienced associate with at least 7 years PQE and come from a strong energy background. The team is keen to hear from both Scottish qualified and dual qualified lawyers (England and Wales).

Real Estate (Energy) – Edinburgh/Hybrid (Assignment 15422)

This global multinational law firm is recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate to join its market-leading Real Estate Energy team in Edinburgh. This large team is currently seeking an associate with at least 4 years’ PQE, ideally with extensive knowledge of renewable energy projects, however, they are also keen to hear from candidates with strong commercial/rural property experience. Candidates at a more senior level are also encouraged to apply.

You can expect to undertake a range of land transactions and advisory work in support of a wide variety of projects both national and international. The work will include advising at all stages of the life cycle of energy and infrastructure projects including development, acquisition, disposal, and funding.

The team is keen to hear from candidates who are either Scots or dual qualified (Scotland & England). This is a unique and interesting role within a friendly and supportive team and will give you exposure to high quality work for clients across the team and other offices. The firm also support a hybrid working model to allow for more work/life balance.

Legal Counsel (Property & Renewables) – Glasgow (Assignment 15426)

We are delighted to have been instructed on this new In-House role with our client, a renewable energy company which is one of the largest in the world. The role is based in the company’s Glasgow office. The role will be full-time on a permanent basis.

The company is currently recruiting an experienced Legal Counsel to join its highly regarded Legal team. The role will focus primarily on property work with some aspects of planning; its purpose is to provide support to an increasing number of renewable energy projects such as onshore wind, solar and battery storage. You can also expect to work closely with and provide support to the development teams within the business such as technology and commercial.
