Job Description:
Our client, a well-regarded Scottish law firm, is currently recruiting a Senior Solicitor or Associate to join its Rural Business team within the Real Estate practice. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Aberdeen.
The role offers a varied and interesting workload, with opportunities to advise on the purchase and sale of estates, farms, forestry, and other rural land. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ PQE level and have strong experience in providing legal support on rural development matters including residential and renewable developments.
Key responsibilities will include ongoing estate and rural business management advice, dealing with agricultural holdings and tenancies (both contentious and non-contentious), handling a range of letting arrangements, and addressing title queries, including Sasines and Land Registered titles.
A strong interest in the rural sector is essential, along with the ability to manage transactions independently and deliver high standards of client service.
