This full-service law firm, which also functions as estate agents, is currently seeking a Lawyer to join its busy Private Client Team in Glasgow. The purpose of the role is to provide professional advice to a variety of clients on all aspects of private client matters including wills, powers of attorney, testamentary trust plans, and family protection trusts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accurate and legally sound documents based on client instructions, ensuring compliance.
- Conducting in-depth consultations with clients to understand their unique needs, provide expert advice, and gather instructions for the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Testamentary Trust Plans, and Family Protection Trusts.
- Meeting monthly fee targets effectively pricing and selling estate planning services to clients.
- Proactively developing and nurturing relationships with Charities, Financial Advisors, and other strategic partners to generate new business opportunities.
- Supervising and utilising the skills of support staff within the team, ensuring tasks are efficiently delegated and performance is managed.
The team is keen to hear from candidates with at least 2 years’ PQE level with experience in a private client team or firm and specific skills or an interest in estate planning. Previous experience of handling sensitive and complex cases is desirable. 2024 qualifiers with a focus on Private client will also be considered.
