Job Description:
This well-established UK law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Managing Associate or Legal Director to its Tech, IP & Data team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role advising on a broad spectrum of high-value technology projects and digital regulatory matters, including SaaS and cloud-based agreements, emerging technologies (AI and Web3), complex outsourcing, and digital compliance frameworks (such as online safety, data protection, and consumer law).
The role offers exposure to a high-calibre client base across sectors including Financial Services, Digital, Retail & Consumer Goods, Government & Public Services, and Future Energy. Responsibilities include managing your own matters with appropriate Partner support, supervising junior colleagues, and contributing to the team’s business development initiatives, such as delivering training and preparing pitches. You may also have the opportunity to work on-site with clients via secondments (virtual or in-person).
Applicants should have a minimum of 6 years’ PQE, with strong experience in technology transactions and digital regulatory compliance. A track record of delivering complex commercial contracts is essential. Prior in-house experience or time spent advising on AI-related risk and governance is desirable, but not required.
The firm offers excellent training, a collaborative national team environment, and the chance to shape your own practice within a forward-thinking, sector-focused platform. If this position could be of interest, please do not hesitate to contact either Teddie or Cameron for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 17427)
