Our client, a highly regarded UK law firm, is seeking a Legal Director or Partner to join its established and growing team in Edinburgh.
With one of the largest and most experienced private client practices in the country, the firm offers a rare opportunity to work with a diverse client base including entrepreneurs, landowners, trustees, and family offices across both domestic and international matters.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to shaping the firm’s Scottish private wealth offering and maintain its reputation for clear, down-to-earth advice and exceptional client service.
- Provide guidance on estate planning, wealth preservation, tax and trust advisory work for complex clients.
- Advise on complex financial arrangements, succession planning, and cross-border issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues in family law, tax, and probate to deliver joined-up, practical solutions.
Qualifications
- At least seven years’ post-qualification experience.
- Strong track record in estate planning, wealth preservation, tax and trust advisory work.
- Ability to advise on complex financial arrangements and cross-border matters.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
