Our client, a well-regarded UK law firm, is currently recruiting a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join its Construction & Projects (Contentious) team. This is a full-time position and can be based in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, or Glasgow.

The role will focus on contentious construction matters, including advising clients on construction disputes across a range of forums. The successful candidate will be involved in handling adjudications, court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations. Work will cover complex issues arising from building contracts, professional appointments, and related project documentation. There may also be opportunities to support on broader projects work where relevant.

This opportunity is suited to a solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE who has a strong background in contentious construction. Candidates should be pragmatic, commercially minded, and results-driven, with excellent project management and communication skills. A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality client service are essential.
