An exciting opportunity has arisen for an associate to join a leading offshore law firm’s banking and finance team in Guernsey. This role offers the chance to provide high-quality legal advice on a range of complex matters while working closely with senior lawyers and building strong client relationships.
The successful candidate will be involved in advising on significant transactions for global financial institutions and other major clients, contributing to fee estimates, managing work in progress, and ensuring exceptional client service. You will also have the opportunity to develop your technical skills, commercial awareness, and mentoring capabilities within a collaborative team environment.
Applicants should be at the newly qualified to two years’ post-qualification level, with an excellent academic background and experience gained at a leading law firm. Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to business development are essential.
