Our client, a prominent Law Firm is seeking a Lawyer to join its Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss team in either its Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. The team specialises in high-value personal injury claims, offering legal services from policy coverage to litigation. The role involves regular client communication across the UK and provides a collaborative, flexible work environment.

While personal injury experience is preferred, candidates with relevant civil litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Early qualifiers will also be considered. Ideal candidates will be at the 2-3 level PQE, highly organised, adaptable, and interested in complex legal challenges.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the team, mainly representing insurance companies and self-insured businesses.
  • Managing a diverse caseload and frequently appearing in Sheriff Court.
  • Conducting investigations, gathering witness statements, and reviewing medical records and reports.
  • Securing necessary documentation and evidence from third parties.
