Our client, a leading UK Law Firm, is seeking a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join its Rural Business and Natural Capital Team within the Real Estate practice in Edinburgh. This team supports Scotland’s rural economy, advising estates, farms, forestry investors, and developers on land transactions, projects, and natural capital.

This role offers the opportunity to work on forestry investments, carbon sequestration projects, and infrastructure developments, providing strategic and commercial advice within a dynamic and evolving sector. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of transactions, including the purchase and sale of rural land, forestry transactions, agricultural tenancies, renewable energy projects, and rural property development.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-year PQE with experience in property law and conveyancing, particularly drafting and negotiating property contracts.
