Our client, an international law firm, is currently seeking a Lawyer to join its highly regarded Real Estate and Planning Team in Edinburgh. The team handles a range of complex tasks in the environmental, waste, residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors, as well as both contentious work in Judicial Review and Lands Chamber proceedings.

The team is seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years’ post admission experience, ideally gained within Planning Team. The successful candidate will be covering a wide range of major projects across the Infrastructure, Energy and Real Estate sectors including compulsory acquisitions, large-scale development consent orders, giving strategic planning advice, assisting with project management, and supporting the firm’s national real estate practice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background along with an enthusiastic and outgoing personality. Good knowledge of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as well as the Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) would be beneficial.
