This well-established UK law firm is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its busy Commercial Disputes & Claims team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. This position offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload and provide high-quality legal support to clients across sectors, handling everything from straightforward liability claims to complex, high-value property damage and personal injury cases.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years’ PQE in handling disputes, particularly in liability defence, and will be adept at delivering clear, comprehensive legal advice tailored to clients’ needs.
Core responsibilities include:
- Managing a diverse caseload
- Defending claims in the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts
- Providing both written and oral advocacy
You will assist senior team members on complex claims while developing your expertise across areas such as motor, public, and employer’s liability, as well as industrial diseases, clinical negligence, and fatal accidents.
