Exciting opportunity for an Associate Solicitor to join this leading firm’s Corporate Tax team based in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The team advise on the tax aspects of company acquisitions, disposals, and reconstructions, as well as complex commercial property transactions. The key focus of the role will be to advise on the tax implications of corporate, commercial and property transactions. Duties will also include:

  • Advising on the availability of business assets disposal relief
    Advising on the tax structuring of investment funds
    Advising on tax structuring of corporate transactions
    Presenting or assisting with property tax updates, e-updates, client seminars and training
  • To be considered for this role you should be at the 2+ years’ PQE level and preferably have experience in corporate tax. Although, candidates coming from a background in accountancy, corporate M&A and private client will also be encouraged to apply.
