An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning Scottish law firm, which is seeking an ambitious lawyer for its Corporate team in Aberdeen. The team provides comprehensive legal services to businesses in Scotland and internationally, supporting owners, shareholders, investors, and management across various industries.

The successful candidate will have 4-7 years’ PQE in a corporate department, with comprehensive knowledge and experience in company law and corporate transactions. You will manage a varied caseload of corporate work, involving high levels of client and team interaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising on commercial issues, including reviewing, and drafting a range of commercial contracts
  • Preparing reports and advisory notes for clients on legal document terms
  • Promoting the department and the firm through business development activities
  • Helping the department achieve its fee targets
  • Mentoring and supervising junior colleagues, and contributing to their training and development
