Job Description:

We are currently working on this interesting role with a well-known international law firm. The firm is seeking an ambitious Solicitor to join its growing Competition Team on a full-time basis. This position can be based in either the firm’s Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

The role offers a balanced mix of transactional, contentious, and advisory work. Associates take on high responsibility and client contact from day one, including business development and cross-border work with international offices and travel. The team seeks a balanced practice across its core areas, including mainstream antitrust compliance and investigations, trade work, public procurement, merger control, and subsidy regulation.

Interested candidates with 2 to 8 years’ PQE should ideally have training or experience in public procurement and competition law, along with a willingness to learn about subsidy control and the UK’s new subsidy regime post-Brexit.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career within a vibrant, internationally-oriented competition team. Comprehensive training is provided. If interested, please contact Cameron or Steph for an initial confidential discussion. (Assignment 16276)
