What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Store Manager in leading and motivating the team to deliver excellent service and achieve sales targets.
- Setting high standards for customer experience and ensuring these are consistently met.
- Driving sales by coaching the team on product knowledge, selling techniques, and service excellence.
- Overseeing merchandising standards to keep the store well-presented and commercially strong.
- Assisting with staff training and development, helping the team grow their skills and knowledge.
- Supporting inventory management including stock levels, restocking, and accuracy checks.
- Overseeing cash handling procedures and store operations, including opening and closing duties.
- Promoting a safe, compliant, and well-organised store environment.
- Gathering customer feedback and sharing ideas to improve store performance.
- Carrying out administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting as required.
About You
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience (cycling or sporting goods experience is a bonus).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Passionate about customer service with excellent communication skills.
- Sales-driven, with experience meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge and enthusiasm for cycling products is highly desirable.
- Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer-literate and confident with administrative tasks.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts in line with store hours.
