Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Beauty Casual Sales Assistant to join our team in Rushden. As a key member of our beauty department, you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their beauty product needs and contributing to our sales targets.
- Welcome and engage with customers in a warm and approachable manner
- Offer expert advice on beauty products, demonstrating thorough product knowledge
- Assist customers in finding the right products to suit their needs and preferences
- Perform makeup applications and skincare demonstrations when required
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring proper product placement and presentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends and product innovations
- Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inviting shopping environment
- Participate in stock management and inventory tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Strong sales ability and a passion for meeting targets
- In-depth knowledge of beauty products and current industry trends
- Ability to provide personalised recommendations based on customer needs
- Experience with cash handling and operating point-of-sale systems
- Basic visual merchandising skills to maintain attractive product displays
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Previous retail experience, preferably in the beauty industry (desirable)
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently when required
- Enthusiasm for learning about new products and beauty techniques
