Summary

Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operative roles to join our amazing team in Kirton Lindsey, DN21 4HZ to work with one of the UK\\\’s biggest and best known British retail groups.

As a Warehouse Operative you will need to have:

  • A good standard of verbal and written English
  • Good numeracy skills

Details:

  • Pay rates: Days Warehouse Operative – up to 12.30p/h; Evening Warehouse Operative – up to 13.05p/h; Extra Β£1 an hour if shift starts on Saturday & Sunday
  • Hours of work: DAYS & AFTERS ROTATING (05:00-14:00 & 14:00-23:00) Rota – Any 5 from 7 (including weekends)
  • Successful candidates will receive a site H&S induction and full training

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

  • Picking & Packing sporting items across the warehouse
  • Loading & Unloading stock and pallets across the warehouse
  • Other general warehouse duties

The role involves the following physical requirements on a daily basis:

  • Standing or walking long periods between 5 and 8.5 hours (depending on shifts)
  • Lifting and moving products more than 25kg
  • Lifting, bending, reaching above the head, crouching and/or stretching
  • Pushing and pulling more than 25kg in weight
  • Manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
