SEO Site Manager

The SEO site manager is responsible for strategy, performance and execution of SEO for Frasers Group’s sports brands. Managing an SEO executive and reporting into the SEO Lead, the role focuses on increasing organic traffic and revenue through information architecture improvements, content management, and SEO techniques. The manager is data‑driven, prioritises projects to meet KPIs and ensures performance optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimise SEO performance for Sports Direct.
  • Develop the SEO roadmap and strategy with the SEO Lead.
  • Conduct keyword research and manage site technical issues to support the roadmap.
  • Line‑manage SEO Executives.
  • Monitor and improve site KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Identify and highlight opportunities and developments across the channel.
  • Deliver SEO link building campaigns in collaboration with the SEO Lead.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and share insights.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an SEO‑focused role.
  • Strong focus on the technical aspects of SEO.
  • Knowledge of link building techniques.
  • Experience owning SEO responsibilities on a consumer‑traffic revenue site.
  • Experience in keyword research, strategy, optimisation, test‑plan construction and in‑depth analysis.
  • Ability to create and present campaign reports including ROI and conversion rates.
  • Understanding of web usability and site design; quantitative traffic measurement experience.
  • Research skills for prioritising essential keyword sets.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Self‑management and project tracking across multiple initiatives.
  • Passion for SEO and online marketing.
  • Experience with content marketing and social campaigns.
