Job Description
As the App Product Lead, youâre here to expand the potential of our digital business, supporting the delivery of the product vision and strategic roadmap as we move to a MACH architecture. Joining the business at a time of significant growth and investment in Digital, the opportunity to be part of this digital transformation is huge.
Working as a member of the Digital Product Management Team you will be responsible for the evolution and innovation of our multi-fascia app including membership features.
You will play a key role in defining memorable experiences across the app estate and membership, serving customers across multiple touch points, both online and in store.
You will own the delivery of your product, prioritising the backlog, and representing the âvoice of the customerâ through the productâs development.

Define the strategic vision for your team and create the product roadmap for both app and membership.

Define epics, user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the engineering team

Manage product lifecycle and evolve ways of working in an agile environment.

Establish success metrics and ensure that the team are aligned through OKRs.

Co-ordinate beta testing and launch programmes.

Work collaboratively with key colleagues including UX, Optimisation, Delivery and others in support of the successful delivery of your products.

Consistently apply product best practice and acts as an advocate of the product discipline.
Qualifications

Demonstrable experience delivering best in class app products (iOS and Android) within an ecommerce or omnichannel environment

In depth knowledge of agile process and principles

Well versed in managing alpha/beta programmes and product lifecycle

Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to communicate product strategy to the team

Highly analytical, able to make quick decisions

Exposure to MACH is not essential but highly advantageous

Pro-active self-starter, task focused and organised
