Fraser Recruitment is delighted to be working closely with a small and well-established Planning & Development Consultancy in Bedfordshire who is looking to appoint an Assistant Town Planner. This company is an award-winning consultancy providing commercially astute, holistic planning advice across a wide range of development projects. They work collaboratively with local planning authorities and clients to progress applications, appeals and site strategies, ensuring every site receives fair and robust representation.
With exposure to planning applications, appeals, viability, S106 negotiations, policy work and public consultation, this is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Town Planner to gain broad, hands-on experience within a supportive team.
About The RoleThe position offers exposure across the full planning lifecycle, and you will assist in providing the following services:
- Planning Applications
- Planning Appeals
- Planning Potential Appraisals
- S106 / Affordable Housing Negotiations
- Viability Appraisals

You are likely to have:
- A suitable planning qualification (or similar)
- Previous planning experience, either from a placement or first role
