As a Domiciliary Care Assistant you will provide person-centered care and support to clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. You will assist with daily living activities, promote well-being, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for those in your care.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and support to clients in accordance with individual care plans.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Support with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration.
- Administer medication as directed (following appropriate training).
- Carry out light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
