This is a key position within our organisation — one that blends hands‑on care, team support, problem‑solving, and leadership.

You’ll receive full on‑the‑job training, preparing you to handle carer and client queries with confidence.

You’ll also take part in our on‑call rota, helping ensure our clients receive safe, dignified, person‑centred care at all times.

This is a full‑time position, working between the hours of 07.00-22.00 on the following rotation: Week 1: Monday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Following Fraser Home Care policies, protocols, and best‑practice guidelines
  • Providing shift cover during working hours when needed
  • Offering on‑call support on a rotational basis
  • Reporting concerns or issues to senior management
  • Mentoring new inductees and supporting them during on‑call duties and client runs
  • Carrying out tasks assigned by senior line managers
  • Attending induction, in‑house training, and staff meetings
  • Supporting and guiding carers to work safely and effectively
  • Completing quality checks and client reviews
  • Managing day‑to‑day client enquiries
  • Acting as the first point of contact for carers
  • Monitoring and issuing PPE
  • Assisting senior managers with compliance and regulatory standards
  • Being a positive role model for the care team
  • Working with other professionals to ensure clients receive the right support and updating care plans accordingly

  • Previous experience in a care setting is essential ( care at home preferred )
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills

  • SSSC registration required upon successful offer
  • Full driving licence and access to your own car with business insurance — essential
