Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting a Working Supervisor / Foreman for a permanent role covering the Hertfordshire area. Our client is a well-established building contractor and, due to continued growth, is expanding its team. They undertake projects across multiple sectors of construction, with a particular focus on listed buildings and heritage works. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site operatives and subcontractors to ensure contract objectives are met.
- Plan, organise, and monitor daily and weekly site activities.
- Oversee works on site, ensuring they are completed to specification and programme requirements.
- Work from drawings to coordinate and manage site operations.
- Take ownership of company, client, and contract processes.
- Support the Contracts Manager and Surveyor in the day-to-day running of projects.
Health & Safety
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of staff, subcontractors, and third parties.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and maintain site compliance.
- Promote safe working practices across all projects.
