Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting a Gas Engineer for a well-established and growing Social Housing Contractor. Due to continued expansion, the business is strengthening its Gas Team, presenting a great opportunity to join a successful and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas boilers, cookers, and gas fires
- Carrying out annual gas safety checks in occupied social housing properties
- Fault finding and breakdown repairs on domestic gas appliances
- Ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations
- Completing job sheets, certificates, and compliance documentation accurately
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service to tenants
- Working independently to manage daily workloads and appointments
Requirements
- ACS Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working on boilers, cookers, and gas fires
- Previous experience within social housing or domestic gas work preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong knowledge of gas safety and industry compliance standards
