Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting a Gas Engineer for a well-established and growing Social Housing Contractor. Due to continued expansion, the business is strengthening its Gas Team, presenting a great opportunity to join a successful and forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas boilers, cookers, and gas fires
  • Carrying out annual gas safety checks in occupied social housing properties
  • Fault finding and breakdown repairs on domestic gas appliances
  • Ensuring all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations
  • Completing job sheets, certificates, and compliance documentation accurately
  • Providing a professional and customer-focused service to tenants
  • Working independently to manage daily workloads and appointments

Requirements

  • ACS Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working on boilers, cookers, and gas fires
  • Previous experience within social housing or domestic gas work preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong knowledge of gas safety and industry compliance standards
