Fraser Edwards Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced FRA Carpenters to join a leading housing organisation, working across all areas of London and the surrounding areas.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a strong salary package, company vehicle and excellent benefits.

Salary: £41,207 basic salary + £4,000 supplement Contract: Permanent, full time Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm Location: All areas of London and surrounding areas

THE ROLE

You’ll be carrying out fire safety and passive fire protection works across residential properties and communal areas, including:

  • Fire door installation and repairs
  • Fire door upgrades and remedial works
  • Passive fire protection maintenance
  • Minor fire-stopping repairs
  • General carpentry associated with fire safety works
  • Completing job sheets and compliance documentation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong carpentry experience
  • Previous experience working with fire doors
  • Knowledge of passive fire protection
  • Good attention to detail and quality of workmanship
  • Experience completing job sheets and compliance documentation
  • A full UK manual driving licence

BM TRADA knowledge and fire-stopping experience would be advantageous, although training will be provided where required.
