Fraser Edwards is working in partnership with a well-established property management company to recruit a reliable and experienced Self-Employed Tradesperson. This is an ongoing contract role focused on carrying out responsive repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across occupied and void social housing and landlord-managed properties.
We’re looking for skilled, self-motivated professionals to join our growing network of trusted tradespeople in East London, particularly in the Barking & Dagenham area.
MUST HAVE OWN VAN & TOOLS
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out day-to-day maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks in both tenanted and vacant residential properties
- Attend scheduled appointments for reactive repairs and planned works
- Diagnose faults and complete works to a high standard across various trades
- Ensure work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and customer service expectations
Core Trades Required:
- Multi-Trade Maintenance
- Plumbing Repairs & Installations
- Electrical Repairs & Minor Installations
- Gas/Heating System Repairs (including fault-finding & servicing)
- Drainage Maintenance & Unblocking
Requirements:
- Proven experience in domestic maintenance across multiple trades
- Strong knowledge of working within social housing or private rented sector properties
- Clean UK Driving Licence
- Own Van and Full Set of Tools
- Must be comfortable working in both occupied homes and void properties
- Good communication and customer service skills
- UTR number required (CIS payment)
