Fraser Edwards is working in partnership with a well-established property management company to recruit a reliable and experienced Self-Employed Tradesperson. This is an ongoing contract role focused on carrying out responsive repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across occupied and void social housing and landlord-managed properties. We’re looking for skilled, self-motivated professionals to join our growing network of trusted tradespeople in East London, particularly in the Barking & Dagenham area. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out day-to-day maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks in both tenanted and vacant residential properties * Attend scheduled appointments for reactive repairs and planned works * Diagnose faults and complete works to a high standard across various trades * Ensure work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and customer service expectations Core Trades Required: We are actively seeking professionals with skills and experience in one or more of the following areas: * Multi-Trade Maintenance * Plumbing Repairs & Installations * Electrical Repairs & Minor Installations * Gas/Heating System Repairs (including fault-finding & servicing) * Drainage Maintenance & Unblocking Requirements: * Proven experience in domestic maintenance across multiple trades * Strong knowledge of working within social housing or private rented sector properties * Clean UK Driving Licence * Own Van and Full Set of Tools * Must be comfortable working in both occupied homes and void properties * Good communication and customer service skills * UTR number required (CIS payment) Benefits & Flexibility: * You choose your schedule: Work the days and hours that suit you * 14-day payment terms: Regular and reliable payments * Location control: Select the postcodes or areas you\’d prefer to work in * Trade preference matching: Only receive jobs relevant to your skillset * Ongoing pipeline of work: Continuous stream of jobs available year-round If you’re a qualified and experienced tradesperson looking for consistent, flexible work and the freedom of self-employment, we’d love to hear from you
