Fraser Edwards are currently working with a long-established construction contractor, trading for over 50 years, providing building and maintenance services to private and public clients nationwide. Due to continued growth, our client is recruiting for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join their team. Works will include a mix of planned maintenance and responsive repairs, carried out in both void and tenanted properties.
The role involves carrying out high-quality painting and decorating works, with responsibility for:
- Preparing surfaces (sanding, filling, priming) prior to painting or wallpapering
- Applying paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes to a high standard
- Hanging wallpaper and other wall coverings
- Completing touch-ups, snagging, and making good as required
- Ensuring work areas are clean and tidy on completion
- Working independently or as part of a team
- Logging works via PDA
- Liaising with customers, clients, and site staff in a professional manner
- Participating in the callout rota when required
