Fraser Edwards is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Facilities Management contractor for a Fabric Engineer. This is a permanent role offering long-term stability within a growing and reputable organisation. Due to continued expansion, our client is strengthening their Planned Works and Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business and play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance services across their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Take delivery of materials, check delivery notes, and hand documentation to the foreman
- Carry out reactive maintenance on all types of fabric equipment on the client’s asset register
- Complete worksheets accurately and submit to Head Office weekly
- Complete planned maintenance works in line with client specifications
- Make recommendations regarding plant condition, including submitting Life Expired reports as necessary
- Assist the Contracts Manager with costings for remedial works
- Order materials for jobs and manage associated paperwork
- Attend training and Health
